Ok, when my car idled badly as a result of a bad ISC, the car would shake at low RPM's and there would be a knocking sound (not steady, occasionally) under the car that I thought sounded like it was coming from the transmission area. When I shift rougher than I should, I can hear the knock (in a rough shift, meaning the car engages the gear then jerks a few times, its a "thud, thud, thud") and when I go over bumps (engaged in gear or not) I think I MAY be able to hear it, slightly. It sounds to me like it could be transmission mounts, or possible something loose in the tranny. Anyone?

I just realized today (or maybe the problem just arose today) that when I am trying to accelerate moderately hard at a lower RPM (say a slight incline, 4th gear, 1800 rpm w/ 30% throttle) I can sometimes hear the knocking sound at a slightly lower noise level than when the car shook at idle. I believe I have a boost leak (or 9) and it seems to make my car act a bit funny under various loads (the above load being one) and I think that the car may be shaking a tad under the example load causing the knock. Does this help anyone strike up an idea? I posted this thread awhile ago in a different forum and received NO replies... Please don't put me through that again... At least acknowledge that your reading my post, it will help to ease the pain (I.E. "Dude... That kinda sucks a lil... :( ").

 Thanks... I had no idea.
I think I may take it to Buckys and have them lift it up to check for "a loose exhaust," then, when its up I'll ask them to check for anything else that could be loose. If the transmission mounts weren't functioning correctly, do you think trying to wiggle it from under the car might tell me that?
