I need help on picking up a radiator.

I currently have a Fluidyne that over time got smoked. I didn't know it was this bad until I got the car on a lift. Lots of rubbing and stuff sitting against it. (Photos) I'm also installing an oil cooler this coming week.

I will be using the car to take to local shows and drag events. The farthest it will dive at one time is roughly 30 miles. 20 interstate 10 city

The Fluidyne radiator is 2 inches thick. I have 2 pusher fans on it because there is 0 space between the radiator and turbo setup.

One of the options I'm considering is a CXracing. Even though it's still 2in thick, I'll still run the pusher fans. I've looked at quite a few higher hp builds that run CX. (This car is 640 hp currently). I seen some posters saying it's ok to run a half size with a good puller fan and oil cooler. These post are old and I want to make sure I'm not missing any new information one of you might have. I have a budget of $500 but I just see good reviews on the CX.

Do you still have AC on the car? If you don’t have to account for an AC condenser, there are some members that have gained space by using a smaller radiator and fitting it under the radiator support bar.

You may have to switch to puller fans depending on clearance to your intercooler.

No, it's not good to run small ass (Civic style) radiators on these cars if it's a STREET car. If you have space for it, run a full sized radiator. If you want something smaller that can still do the job and create space for you (you can tuck it under the rad support) consider the Scirocco radiator. Prices have really gone up for these, unfortunately. If that Fluidyne is not leaking, have it cleaned and reconditioned. They don't make them for our cars anymore and it is the best radiator for these cars. If they did make one, they would cost $800 so run it!
