Mine's mounted about the same as everyone else's. but mine's actually attached to one of the fan supports.

now i do agree, the longer vac tub would reduce responce time and give you some lost presure and a spiky boost system, so how exactly would this work proporly?

That's very interesting. I wouldn't try using that on a small turbo, personally, since I doubt it wouldn't spike like crazy, especially with their "gated" system that they advertise. It'd probably work fine on turbos larger than a 16G, though.

nice valve cover man. thats awesome
Hey thanks, it was a powdercoated job, came out realy nice.

BTW, No non-recirculating, draw thru setup jokes. It was setup like this for about 1 day, and it sucked. Its now got a blow through setup, just haven't had time to take new pics.

My idea was better. Mount the MBC in the radiator shroud, hopefully the radiator will cut up your MBC, with no line it will allow infinite boost, blow your motor, you will then part out your DSM, and we won't have to see stupid threads like this anymore. Go grab a zip tie and knock yourself out.
Was this really necessary? Come on man.

i guess after my experience, having the mbc with like 4 feet of hose to it will cause it to be spikey, i relocated mine to an area by the air filter, and it doesnt seem to act the same, i'm thinking i'll just put it back where it always was, ziptied to the radiator fan shroud..... :thumb:

I used to mount mine near the radiator and/or exh. manifold and I noticed that the heat of either would make it run poorly. A few dyno pulls showed that.

That's when I relocated it on my passenger side wheel well. Best spot I've ever seen one :)

I have always wondered about this but never actually got around to trying it in a "cooler" area.
