Have you noticed any heat differences in summer? Any real noticeable noise differences?

I'm planning on removing it tomorrow night but I have a black car, with black/gray interior and no AC. I'm worried ill be roasting in the summer even worse due to engine bay temps not being controlled from enetering the cabin. Any input appreciated!

I ripped mine out bare handed. It was so beat it tore out pretty easy. There's still a little around the brake booster, but I'm not going to pull that just to remove the little bit left. A pair of pliers and a razor blade or scissors may help.

I've noticed a small increase in engine noise (I like it) but no change in interior temp.

Key things to note is that I don't have any of the emissions equipment, or the cruise control, and the battery has been relocated to the trunk. So I have a lot of room to reach behind the engine.
