I just got my engine running, and when pushing my brakes in... they go to the ground. Look under the car and its leaking by the rear driver side wheel. I pull the wheel off to find that the brake line is rusted and cracked.

It looks like there are no disconnects anywhere between that POS line and the splitter on the front end of the car under the intake manifold. Though it looks this way... am I going to be replacing everything from the splitter to the tire?

your gonna need to splice it. Do not use compression fittings, they are illegal. You will need to get a flare tool, you can probably rent it from autozone or orielys. Then go under your car and find the line trace it up untill you get to a point where it looks solid from there on, cut the line there. Then slide on a 3/16" tube nut and put a standard double flare on the line. Now remove the rusty section and use it as a template to bend a new one from new line. You night have to reuse a tube nut from the old line. you might also have to use a metric bubble flare type line. I cannot remember. Try to bend it so you can use the factory flares if possible, they are much better flares than possible with a flare tool. then install the new line, connect it to the old line with a union bleed your brakes and drive

just make sure you practice with the flaring tool first, they arent that hard, but just realize you are turning a line with 2 fittings into a line with 4 fittings now, more places to leak. It would be just as easy to buy a roll of brake line and replace the whole line from splitter to rear tire, just zipstrap the new line to the old one, the bends in the line dont have to be perfect.
