Do you take out all 4 plugs at the same time and test each cylinder, OR do you unplug cylinder 1's plug first, test that cylinder, then replace that plug, and move on to the next cylinder. I know its a simple question, but I would like to be sure about this and unfortunately my Chiltons is not with me currently.

remove only the spark plug from the cylinder your testing and replace when done with that cylinder and go on to the next.

Negative. Remove all 4 plugs. Also remove the proper fusible link from your positive battery cable or your be spraying fuel. Also remove the plug from your ignition module or you'll risk the chance of shocking yourself. When you turn your car over push the accelerator to the floor holding it there til your done cranking. Crank 10x or until the needle stops moving.

Yep, I'm sure on the mpi fuse removal and the ignition connection removal, but it was the plug issue that I wasn't sure on. I'm assuming you've done one before.
