Ok well after 2-3 hours rewire install (im a very paticular/clean person) i have accomplished rewireing the stock FP, started it up runs fine everything ok. Heres my questions...

What do you all do with the relay? just let it lay around the tank under the cars body? and do you all wrap it in anything? next what are you all doing for connections? i have EVERYTHING soildered, and the damn wire is so thick it took about 5 min for each one to get soilder sucked down into the wireing. what are you all doing on the criming of the "slide on's" that go on the end of the relay (examples: 87, 30 etc) like do you all just slide them on and hope they done every wiggle off? and do you just crimp the end on or is that a insufficent way of doing it?

reasons i ask is because one little mess up and 0 psi fuel pressure = bye bye motor at full boost OMG

If you lose all fuel pressure you wont cause damage to your engine, it would just shut off. Just like fuel cut.

I've had mine rewired like that for years and never had an issue. I bolted my relay to a support that's behind the interior trim piece. That was the first step, find a suitable location for the relay.

I did mine a little differently. My relay is in the engine bay triggered by the test connector on the firewall. I also used an empty slot in the fuse box so I can the same fuse that the car uses. Basically, I have one wire going all the way to the pump, literally. One wire coming out of the tank grounded to the chasis. Much cleaner I think. :)

so your all's relays are inside the car? for the instructions and what i have seen people usually put then outside the car under the plate at the fuel lines area?

That's what I did with mine; it's just sitting on top of the fuel pump lid. I may end up doing what blackGSX2g did and bolt it to the inside so it's not exposed to the elements, but I'd need to do a bit of rewiring beacuse the wires aren't long enough to reach that far.

I have mine just shoved underneath the panel you remove underneath your back seat. It kept everything real quick for me to get to, If i have a problem with it I just pop the back seat and undo four screws instead of having to #### with the side panels and stuff. If I were to do it again though I would probably found a nice place to mount it instead of just shoving it all underneath that plate. Also I wrapped mine in electrical wire real good afterwards to make sure I didnt get any shorts.

I placed mine under the cover and zip tied it to the wires running to the sendind unit. And for the wires were they plug into the relay i install alarms so i had a preassembled housing it just plugs into that you can pick up at just about any radio shack or electronics store. And i justed filled it with some dielectric gease.

I also used a relay similar to that that I got at Radioshack, but I really like that plug that's included in the ad. That would have made things MUCH easier to install than trying to get little crimp connectors all on one side and trying to get electrical tape around each of them and stuff. :)

ok well im in the process of ordering mine, whats the difference between a 4 prong relay and the 5 prong 30amp relay?WTF

The 4 post relay is just missing the center prong which you wouldnt even need for what your doing. So either one would be fine. also i noticed that the relay you bought from ebay has a diode in the harness. So you need to hook it up right or just cut the diode out because if you dont youll wind up blowing a fuse. TO hook it up right if it didnt come with a wiring sheet you will need to hook 85 to the fp trigger ond 86 to ground unless the diode is put in different which i think most are the same. If you look on the relay you will see the numbers. But me i would just snip the diode out of it.
