Well for all you that dont know the talon got rear ended and got totalled. Drivable but I hate driving a car with damage. I found a clean shell and was just going to pull motor and trans out and drop it in the other car. Well my motor is stock with plenty of maintence. New headgasket with maybe 1 or 2k miles, timing compents with 10k miles on it, and rebuilt head (springs retainers have about 160k miles on it) 10k on bc 272. Bottem end was jdm 7 bolt with around 50-60k miles on it. Crank starting to walk. Just at rebuild stage. I asked dogbox where I got the trans rebuilt to check it for me. Check compression 190s across the board. I am planning on pushing the car to its max on 18g tdo6 and get my 20g tdo6 rebuilt. Right now the 18g is on 25 psi. So question is to rebuild or not. I hate this motor to blow couple thousand miles down the road. (just my luck) So need some opinions. Thanks for your thoughts.
