My talon TSI decided to give me its last driving miles yesterday. It started a bad misfire and ran like a subaru. I got to work, and then drove it home to let it sit overnight. It wouldnt idle well, but it ran fine minus the lack of boost. I wake up to a huge puddle of oil under the car and limp it to my friends shop. We do a compression test which reads
1- 60-90
2- 100
3-100
The way it pushes oil out it looks like rings or cracked block.
We didnt bother with the 4th, because that right there told us the engine was toast. This car has a lot of nice parts on it, and is in spectacular shape so I would hate to kill it. I do not have the money for a rebuild as I am moving to another state soon. From what we could diagnoised this sounds serious. Unless there is something we forgot? Any hints will be used right now otherwise its a total loss and the car will be parted out.

Then someone gets a project car that they want, and you get another dsm to have fun with, and you're not paying an arm and a leg to make it happen
