I bought a 91 talon tsi a few months ago from a guy who said he had done a lot of mods to it. I am now finding that was misled. The "Brand new" automatic transmission locks up in first and growls in second. The "Brand new" exhaust is a rotted out factory exhaust. I'm tired of dealing with it so I am ready to get rid of it. What I need to know is would it be worth the effort to disassemble it and part it out or just sell it whole and be done with it?

Parting it will definitely bring you more bling- but will also take more time, dealing with people who say they're going to buy something and never do, shipping, charges for posting on ebay.etc. etc. You sell it out right then its "outta sight, outta mind" and you can use that money to get a 90-92 gsx ;)
