Anyone running a dog box from tmz? Seems to be a affordable option but I can't seem to find much for reviews on them. Also, how good are the rear ends in these cars? Anyone weld them? I'm going to run a welded front diff so I don't see why I won't weld the rear as well. Also, What are your thoughts on the transfer case for strengthening
 
The faceplated transmissions still use stock DSM gears, so they'll be the weakest link. Driveline survivability relies heavily (no pun intended) on the weight of the car. I run a faceplated transmission, albeit not built by TMZ, and it has worked real well for me. I also have a really light car, so I haven't been blowing drivetrain parts as frequently as some folks, though.

What does your car weigh and how much power? I'm on the fence with selling my TRE syncro trans and going to a PPG. The cost is a bit much but over time the longevity should be less than buying a few syncro transmissions.
