So I did the timing on my friends car and after I turned, torque and Tensioned the tensioner pulley, the orientation of the two holes on our eccentric tensioner was positioned at "11 and 1"....

My question is if it in the right location or is it too tight?????????????

You have to use the granade pin as a refrence, it has to be able to be put in and pulled out easily then you know it's at the correct tension. The orentation of the holes doesnt matter as much.

I agree. This is where my holes ended up with proper tension and was able to pull and reinstall the grenade pin.

Pulley holes shouldn't be used as reference. Get a feeler gauge and check the clearance between auto tensioner and the tensioner arm is .15-.18 inches.
