Timing belt tensioner pulley?

Mitsubishi dealer says noise I hear is the tensioner pulley.Any one know whats up with it?

They are probably right. Timing belt tensioner pulleys do wear out like everything else. If it is, people normally also replace the timing belt, balance shaft belt, idler pulley, and water pump at the same time. See "http://www.vfaq.com/mods/timingbelt-1G.html" if you want to do it yourself.
