1G Timing belt woes. 1g eclipse restoration road block

I believe I have been graced with a case of the bad timing arm bushing and or mount. And it’s great because they are no longer made. Does ANYBODY have a tried and true workaround for this. This is my first dsm. I have always wanted a turbo eclipse but this one is giving me hell. It is walking off of the cam gears excessively. Like half the belt is off just in 6 rotations. Any help from the dsm gods would be appreciated. 1990!eclipse gst.

This isn’t a ford . Grab some ngk BPR6ES. How much boost are you running? More boost, tighter the gap.

I know it I hate people who put autolites in anything . I read somewhere people recommend the 7s as well. I believe it touched 16-18 psi it starts breaking up as soon as boost really comes on and then I cannot throttle it hard if I ease into it it’s fine but I can floor it

7’s are colder plugs. You’ll be fine with 6’s gapped to .028. If it still breaks up, try a little tighter, .026.

Under boost I’m breaking up and misfiring hard.

Replace your spark plug wires too when you put some BPR6ES plugs in there.
