Timing Belt Tools Question

Alright, so i have a new Auto Tensioner, Timing belt, Bearings, All that jazz; Along with my balance Shafts Eliminated.


Now, do i need any special tools for this Timing belt installation?

My Auto Tensioner still has the pin in it as well. (duh!)

Im going to the dealer tomorrow to pick up some parts, it would be appreciated if you guys could let me know what special tools ill need, if any..

That's what you'll need to do it properly.

Really all you need is the threaded rod which you can make yourself fairly cheaply... but the kit isn't a bad idea if you have the moneys...

^I agree. I tried to do it my first time without the tensioner tool (one that says Jay Racing on it), and let me tell you it was a pain. I tried 2 or 3 different methods to tension the pulley and all weren't as easy as the tool. I'd suggest you get the tools right off the bat and save yourself the hassle.
