Ok sorry if this is a repeat but I can't find what I need. Let me explain 3 months ago my oil filter housing back off. Long story short it's locked up. So now it's rebuilt and running took it for a ride last night and the belt was tight abought 3 miles and it was not tight at all I towed it back so it wouldn't jump timing. I did reuse my tensioner but it seemed fine when it was checked out The wierd part is there is a deep mark in my water pump from my asentric the little blue puly. I'm lost on what to do. Also it is a 7 bolt build which the timing componits seem different from a 6 bolt.

Only thing diff. between the two is the auto tensioner. Check your gap on the tensioner to see if you lost tension somehow. Sometimes those things just give up the ghost and it's time to get a new one.
