I am going through a noise in my 1998 gst, what I did was change the crankshaft sensor and after assembling the noise started.
Later I removed the crankshaft pulley to verify that it was not an accessory and the noise still continues. It is as if two surfaces rub against each other at the moment the band of time turns. Has anyone gone through this problem that would be so kind to help me please?

It’s not uncommon for timing covers to warp over time and when you take everything apart and put it together there may be some rubbing occurring. It’s probably a pulley rubbing on the inside of the cover. That will probably resolve itself as it wears the cover down… but… don’t count on that. Take off the upper cover and get a good look as far down as you can see. Make sure the belt is tight without slack slapping around. Make sure the belt isn’t trying to run off the side of the pulleys. If still concerned you may need to get pull the covers and figure out where your point of contact is.
 
Sounds like the crank plate is contracting with the sensor or something. Make sure everything is installed properly and the crank plate is not bent/distorted.
Also it looks like you have the balance shaft belt tensioner backwards. You should fix that.
 
No es raro que las cubiertas de sincronización se deformen con el tiempo y cuando se desmonta todo y se vuelve a armar, es posible que se produzcan algunos roces. Probablemente sea una polea que roza en el interior de la cubierta. Eso probablemente se resolverá solo a medida que se desgaste la cubierta... pero... no cuentes con eso. Parece que la placa del cigüeñal se está contrayendo con el sensor o algo así. Asegúrese de que todo esté instalado correctamente y que la placa del cigüeñal no esté doblada o distorsionada.
También parece que tienes el tensor de la correa del eje de equilibrio al revés. Deberías arreglar eso.

Yes, tomorrow I'm going to disassemble everything again to find the cause of the noise, according to what I've investigated, everything points to overtightening the timing belt. I really appreciate your support.
