It is almost spring and i need to bring the 1g out to play. She is in need of a new turbo and i am stuck on which one to get. It needs to be a t3 turbo because i have a turbonetics t3 manifold and i dont want to have to change and modify a lot of stuff for a new turbo. I was thinking of getting a precision sc61. Any other suggestions ?

Pretty much any turbo you buy from precision can come with a t3 flange on it.

It all depends on what you want to use to car for, and there are a lot of great options. DBB 50Trim, GT30 or 35R, s200, all of these turbo's seem to be to they way to go. Some more then others obviously, but even the others show potential.

first make sure you always intend to stay T3,
buy the right turbo the first time, decide upon your ultimate goal. and buy a turbo to support it.
dont do like so many people here have done encluding me and end up buying 2 or 3 turbos.
if you dont have the mods to support the turbo you want, and cant afford them now then I would recomend saving your money. then get everything you need the first time.
RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH,, SHOP AROUND, SHOP AROUND.

The SC61 is a very nice tubo and makes tons of power. And its probably wha you are looking for. Take that extra money and get some bigger injectors.

you should read my mods list, i have pleanty of supporting mods. I still have a 50 trim turbo, that i bought over three years ago, and the oil seals just blew on it, so i need a new turbo. I was thinking of the sc61 because of the price and the power they put out. I would get a gt35r but that would require a to4s comp housing and then i would have to modify my filter/intake, and as i mentioned above i dont want to have to modify too much to get a new turbo. Also a gt35r costs more than $1000

Get the GT3561 then, its a non BB 35R available in a t04e housing. It has the same compressor wheel as the SC61 but it has the newer style GT exhaust wheel which is supposed to spool slightly faster and make more power. :thumb:
