2G tie rod end boot part number

Im replacing my tie rod ends and the driver side boot is ripped. I cant find the part number or even what its called. The boot has been ripped for a wile so what is the part number for the boot and what it covers? The picture of what I need is in this thread.

You can get them from RockAuto for about $15 each. There called "rack & Pinion Bellows" under the steering category.

The Mitsubishi PN is MR198993 (but will cost a lot more than $15).

You can get both outer tie rod ends COMPLETE on ebay for less than 20.00

Great but he's talking about the "rack & pinion bellows" over the inner tie rod - not the outer tie rod ends.

It worked ok for a few months, but then was all ripped and torn apart after about a year.

I replaced both mine with the Mitsubishi genuine parts....both sides along with the inner tie rod ends about 3 years ago and they are still working fine.

OK so I ordered one from advanced and it seem like the inner side of the boot is way to small. It is nearly impossible to get that thing over. I tried the zip tie trick and instead of zips I tried allen keys. Im also trying to put a hose clamp in the boot to stretch it but I just looks way small. The boot is 1 1/2 and needs to stretch to 2. I dont see how it can stretch that far. Is there maybe a different size for different years?

The part numbers for the two boots I got that the inner part of the boot is to small.

Can anyone cross refference with the factory part number MR198993?

Your ACDelco number is off. 2G ACDelco number should be 45A7063A. You know, if you'd just go to Rockauto like I told you, you'd be done by now. Also, buy Moog they are Federal Mogul's after market brand. Besides Rockauto is a supporting vendor too.

Is the other part number off to? They both are the same size.
