So I'm having a HELLUVA time getting my outer tie rod end off the knuckle. I tried the hit the knuckle and pry bar the tie rod trick, the pickle fork, and the ever popular curse incessantly.

Any other thoughts? I don't have a gear puller otherwise I would've already done it the easy way. And the last time I tried a tie rod puller on this car it spun off and left a giant dent on my threads.

I just put pb blaster on and I started to torch the side and the boot was starting to bubble so I stopped. Where should I torch?

Yeah the end links that attach to the axles. They desperately need to be replaced due to the pickle fork that didn't work SHREDDING the boot. Shreeeeeedding it. :(

Anyone have any ideas? I'm having a HELL of a time with this.

4 lbs mallet? dead blow hammer? Cut it to little tiny immeasurable pieces?

I ended up having to replace my outter the last time i took the hub off because it was seized.

PB blaster, soak, torch and sledge the bolt/bushing.
You'll have to replace the outter piece after this, 10bucks @ oreilly's.

Hammer, pb blaster, body weight, torch, destruction.

The funny thing is it seized after a week of being on. Must've got some water in it.

Got it off with a torch. Turned the boot into charcoal but I was planning on replacing it anyway. Now it's time for an alignment WOO!
