hey everyone,
I bought a used 7 bolt off of someone and didn't really check it proplery before freshening it up. I got it done and I had glittery oil changes and by 1500miles I had crank end play and the car was difficult to get into gear. So I pulled out the thrust bearings and threw a set in to get me threw the summer. My question is you will notice how blue and hot these bearings got and the thrust surfaces are not worn. Do you think this is an assembly error on my part or like an out of round crank? The one picture is of one of the thrust bearings that came in the engine when I bought it. I have another 95 block and crank (unfortunately) that is in good shape that I would like to run but I wanted to make sure it wasn't my error. I want to keep this car a 7 bolt. Thanks for your help
