My 95 420a manual is making a godawful noise on start up and when pressing the clutch, the sound is coming from the flex plate/clutch area. I’ve already replaced the clutch, tob and the fork with no change in sound, I dropped the pan and I can pry the crank towards the timing side just enough to feel it but you cant really see it. On startup it doesn’t matter if the clutch is pressed. I’ll try to post a vid but it sounds like a squeal on startup and turns into a loud ticking like a throw out bearing.

A video would be helpful. The 420A doesn't normally have crankwalk issues. That's more documented with the 4g engines. Did you notice any metal shavings when you drained the oil?
