Throttle cable and cruise control!

ok i really enjoy having cruise control espically when i drive to the beach which is 45 mins and i just set it to 70 and cruise all the way there.

well im under going an engine swap and i cant seem to find a throttle cable w. the cruise control anywhere. does anyone know a site i can buy it from? or know if i can take the one off the 1.8l and use it for the 2.0?

it looks right?!? now where can i get it?
i need it the whole thing because the engine didnt come w. any of the cables. and could i use the old cables from the 1.8l on the 2.0? still havent gotten an answer for that 1

I'm not sure about the 1.8 to 2.0 question.

I would either call up JNZ Tuning (posted above) and tell them you need all the cruise control parts for your car and they should be able to help you out, if you want everything brand new. If not, try your local junk yards or look for people in the classifieds that are parting out their cars.

Oh, and the part number I listed above is just for the cruise to throttle body cable (the one highlighted in red). It seems like you need a lot more than just that cable though.

All depends if his cruisebox is mounted next to the right strut tower (like the 90, 91 models) or mounted on the firewall as with the 2g models...

I would say that there could be a big difference due to the kind of intake manifolds used between the two motors ..

ok i guess ill have to call these guys up and see what i can do. Thanks for the pic tho i printed it out and im taking it to the mechanic today and see exactly what he needs...

yea the 1.8L had it mounted aganist the firewall im pretty sure. and i think its still there. he didnt take it off w. the engine swap. thats y i want to know if the old cables (not the throttle cables i no i need new ones for that) would work still
