Throttle body vacuum ports

So im sick of the cheapy parts store vacuum caps cracking on me all the time on my throttle body ports so I decided to use some vacuum line and just loop the 2 outer ports together and the 2 inner ports together. My question is does it matter what ones I loop together? If I'm not mistaken one of them is a pressure port and wouldn't want to hook that one up to the wrong port.

Shouldn't matter. Most people I see loop the outer one with the inner one right next to it.

Or you could run a JDM throttle body that only has one nipple
Or pull the nipples and weld/plug the holes for an even cleaner look

I'm pretty sure one port goes to the opposite side of the TB... been so long since I thought about it because I had them all capped off while I had a 1g tb. You wouldn't want to bridge the sides unless you like screwy idle.

Capping and zip ties on the caps worked for me, but I only ran up to 22psi. Boost leak tests were always good up to 25psi.

Agreed, there are ports on both sides of the butterfly and you really don't want to loop those.

Ok thats exactly what I was wondering/thinking. Is there a correct way to loop them or should I just try and find some silicone caps and be done with it? I have them looped right now and everything seems fine. It still idles perfect and I even blt it with them looped and none of them were leaking.

I pulled the nipples out threaded the holes and put plug screws in with teflon tape to seal them so no more vac caps for me to worry about cracking and leaking.
