My throttle body was leaking during the boost leak test, so I decided that I should just take it off and investigate. I did a search on the combined boost leak thread but it takes me about 3 hours to go through it properly. (I tried it the other night).

I would like to know every gasket/o-ring for this throttle body and where I can get the parts from. (I prefer to get them online rather than locally).

I also found 2 seperate throttle body shaft replacement links but I read that they may be outdated??

As much information on this topic as possible would be appreciated.

I also noticed that the intake pipe to throttle body gasket was torn and it was not metal either. The TB to IM pipe was ok, but I think it is cork. I heard that they are supposed to be metal.

I think that the throttle shaft seal might be bad because the sound varied as I changed the throttle position.

I hope that I did not remove the TB needlessly. Shouldn't some noise there be normal?

Thanks

Be sure to check all o-rings and gaskets: throttle body, throttle body elbow, shaft seals, biss o-ring, isc o-ring. After all that it should be good.
