throttle body gaskets

alright ive looked......wheres the cheapest place to get the throttle body gaskets as well as FIC injector o-rings....i did a leakdown test and was leaking boost from the throttlebody and around the injector seals. i ordered my shaft seals already and i pluged my biss screw as well. thanks in advance for the help guys!!!

You can get that stuff from various vendors and dealerships (for the gaskets).

They also have throttle body gaskets which are under OEM Parts > Mitsubishi Eclipse > Gaskets & Seals.

a little off topic but i messed up and forgot to mark my spring on the throttle body..... do you know what i should do or how many times it gets wound before you put the plate back on?

I wind it up two full rotations. Then you'll have to play with the throttle shaft to get the cable bracket to mount properly (take note of the two bumps on the bracket and the two indents on the plastic piece).

yes i did notice those indents in the plastic piece. what i did was wrapped the inside spring twice and then the outside spring 3 times. it snaps back pretty good. and the springs look like my neighbors do on her car. (yes we have 3 tuned dsm's in one driveway. all 2g's.) thanks for your help!!!!!

I've never heard of doing the springs separately, especially one having 3 revolutions. Hopefully that doesn't cause any issues.

i did it two full rotations but it didnt seem to snap shut like it did before. and i figured being the outer spring is bigger than it should be compressed another turn. do you think i should change it back to just two

I probably would, but that's just because I've done it so many times. I would wind the springs together as well.
