Throttle Body Gaskets

I performed a boost leak test and found that i was leaking aroundt eh TB and BISS screw. so i ordered the two new TB gaskets, a new o-ring, and new BISS screw. Question is, what bolts do i need to unscrew on the elbow to the TB to replace the two gaskets i need to replace. i got one out, but the other 3 are either very hard to get to or impossible to even budge. Do i need to unscrew all 4?

Yes. You have to remove all 4.

If I remember right its 3 studs and one bolt. They are 12mm going into alum. so they will most likely be hard to break loose at frist. What I do is take the ractcht and smack it with a rubber mallet and the rest is cake.

All 4 need to come off. Do it slowly, with PB-blaster, because you don't want anything snapping or stripping.

and once all four are off, i can seperate the elbow from the TB to replace that gasket and the TB from the Intake mani to replace that gasket as well?

You might also want to replace the BISS o-ring while the throttle body is off. Sometimes the BISS screw does not like to come out and it is very easy to push out from the inside of the throttle body.

any suggestions on removing that last damn bolt at the bottom closest to the firewall? its such an awkward angle i cant do anything with it.

Socket with an extension? Possibly remove the battery for more room?

can i safely disconnect the three "vacuum" lines conected at the top of the TB? and what about the electrical harness? i need to in order to replace the second gasket.

Yes, you can remove the vacuum lines on the throttle body to take it off. Just label them so you know which line came from which nipple.

Yes, you can unplug the electrical connections.
