I found a water injection kit on ebay, not sure if it is any good. I have a big 16g turbo that i plan on maxing out. mods include: FMIC, 680 cc injectors, and walbro 255. I have read that some people use 2 sprayers and others just use 1 big sprayer. Also i herd that it would be best to inject straight into the throttle body. I have my vac lines removed so i was wondering if i would be able to run 1 line right into one of those nipples in the throttle body. Would you recommend 1 sprayer or 2 for my set-up. Eventually i will be getting a bigger turbo etc but this is my set up as of now.

here is the kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...ry=42604&item=7976522297&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

I am not familiar with water injection, but I know most people spray before the throttle body. I think the kit you found on Ebay would be great for an experienced user, but where you don not know that much about water injection you would save a lot of time and money (in the long run) if you went through a DSM based company like our site sponsor Cooling Mist. In my experience if you spend a little more up front you get added bonuses like tech support and product support. Most things you buy off ebay are a one time, cut and dry affair and when it is gone it's gone.
While I managed not to answer your question I hope that I at least gave you some usefull advice on how to avoid "cheap buy-in's, with expensive results"
Good luck and I hope whatever you decide works for you.

telling a person to just search is not helpful. SO therefore you arent being helpful.

check this thread, lots of information:http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41303&highlight=water+injection

I run a single water injection sprayer. One aquamist nozzle right before the TB. It needs to be a bit down from the TB so that it can attomize well in the airstream. Two stage is where one comes on at low boost (5-6psi) and another bigger nozzle comes on at higher boost.. 13+psi

I would suggest a single stage, one nozzle for you. I would not go any lower than a 60psi pump. 100psi will make the spray a greater finer mist. Injecting water is like injecting a fine fog or mist of water. You will be able to lean your mixture and grab a few degrees more timing, or add some boost. On a hard run i can grab my piping and its hot. When i grab the TB elbow it is cool after my water/meth is injected. www.coolingmist.com also makes great kits.

If the question was in the Newbie forum, I would not have responded in that manner, but why then is the "Search" button a feature of this forum, to avoid re-answering questions about topics that have been talked about numerous times.

obviously i did search if i found the information i allready stated but i wanted a definite answer so im glad you could help tell me where the search button is :notgood:

thanks for the link to that other post :thumb:

I just use one nozzle before the tb elbow. You do have to use a nozzle though so that it mists the water into the air stream for atomatization, if you just hooked the water line to a vac port on the tb it would supply a stream of to much water
