First, my J-pipe did not clear the rad fan and intake pipe. I got the pipe used from the trader and I'm not sure who makes it. Is there a J-pipe that clears the intake pipe and the radiator fan? I was looking at the one from dsmparts.com which I think might be the dejons one but I'm not sure if it will clear the parts on its way. I'll give them a call on monday see if they have any info. In the mean time, does any one use a J-pipe that clears the stock radiator fans and an injen intake pipe on a 2G? If so, which one are you using? I'm not too concerened about the intake pipe, mostly just the fan.

Also, I installed a ported SBR manifold with the turbo along with a ss tubular o2 housing. In the picture below, the bracket circled in green, I couldn't install it back because the sbr mani is too big. Will it be ok to leave it unistalled, or will I have to find a way (grind it) to put it back?

Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can leave that bracket off, but don't chuck it since you'll need that if you ever have to pull the engine.

Just out of curiosity, why is that bracket needed to pull the engine?

I have a similar set up. 2g exhaust manifold, SBR EVOIII turbo, Ingen intake, stock fans, and my J pipe fit without any mods (barely). Maybe the SBR mani is slightly different?

Yes, the sbr mani has a thicker flange. I think I'm probably just going to have to get a slimer fan.

yeah i also have the evo3 from slowboy and the jpipe that came with their install kit fit fine on mine. But yeah i removed that bracket on mine as well, just replace the bracket with a washer and bolt it back.

i was okay in both departments. i got my evo3 setup w/ 2g install kit and cleared fine. the bracket was missing out of mine so i didn't have to bother.
just check with the vendor to see about clearing issues.
