Edmonton,
Hey Guys,

Well I'm Pretty excited after a crapload of work and time from friends and family my car should be ready to go tonight. I am going to start it tonight and I am just wondering if there should be anything I should be watching for or any issues that I will probably run into. So first of all the big install was a FMIC. I am running a 16g and would like to tune it for about 18 psi for the street.

I also during this install blocked off the EGR with a plate (silicone on both sides), and removed all the vacuum lines from the intake manifold, eliminating the charcoal canister, the evaporator emission purge solenoid vacuum lines, and ran the line that lets the fuel tank vent underneath the car.

I also installed a 1/8 pipe thread air fitting into my J pipe of the turbo to help with my new Greddy BOV, and MBC and put a t fitting in the line to reduce chatter.

Finally I put on a 3" Dejon intake and kept the stock MAS unit.

Is there anything that I have done wrong that you guys can see. I dont want to start up my car and have it run like crap and gives me a whole bunch of CELs or is that going to happen and I am going to have to turn them off with DSM link? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

Do a boost leak test if possible. Will save you a lot of headache with tuning or even just a blown i/c pipe somewhere on a road in the middle of no where.

No, the main port for the BOV is run off of the intake manifold (just like stock). The lower part of the BOV actuator (I believe it is called) is run off the boost from the J pipe. This allows the BOV to close and open faster and prevents chatter. Correct me if I'm wrong

o ok i thought you were using the t from the j pipe to supply the top nipple of the bov. I'm not sure about the bottom nipple but cause i never had a need to use it beit that I ussually boosting pretty high and i changed over to an hks shortly after getting it.
