Well my grandfather owns a junkyard and I havent been there in a while, especially since I got my TSi and I always find good stuff there. Anything I should look out for? They have like any car you could think of there, besides crazy stuff like lambos and such. But yea anything I could get that could benefit my DSM or that I could make an interesting project out of? Give me ideas, I have a loooong winter ahead of me.

Get a HUGE turbo off a semi:D
if your car is stock, you could getan intercooler off a supra...If he has a boosted Supra there.

look for anything on a turbo 1g DSM (motorwise) besides the o2 and manifold.

look for supra SMIC

look for the highrise wing

look for a 97-99 eclipse conversion

look for 97-98 talon conversion

look for 97-99 sideskirts

look for rears..

i could go on for days. and YES, it is like a FIELD DAY in a junkyard for me. I have the biggest smile on my face when I see a bunch of trashed DSMs.. LOL it's like finding GOLD!! hahaha :thumb:

LOL dude I feel the same way, everytime I go there im running around the yard like a 'tard checking out cars like they are worth millions. Yea Im keeping my eye out for 97-98 talon front ends and door caps, supra sidemount, and maybe a high-rise wing. Keep the ideas coming guys, I want to come back loaded down with DSM stuff, I might even snag stuff to sell on here :)

Find DSM's, strip them and sell the parts on eBay. Good EPROM ECU's are a hot item. AWD drivetrain parts are good. 4g63 engine parts of course are good. Door handles... etc.

Bah, only 2 DSMs a 93 talon non turbo 1.8 and a 95 talon tsi, I managed to snag a heat shield, spark plug cover, the brake booster vacuum hose that was causing my boost leak, and the windshield washer squirters because mine wont stay in the damn hood. I will be going back in a couple weeks to snag the eprom ECU out of that 95 talon, couldnt take it today cause they need to make sure it runs. Kinda disappointed in my finds but at least I got some stuff I needed.

anything 1g, depend were you live dont know if they have supras there or not..but yeah big sidemounts and trannys and stuff anything in awd you can resell....

Quick question about the Supra sidemount IC. What gen Supra are we talking about here? I know absolutely nothing about this and have searched but couldnt find specific info. Can anyone elaborate? Im a member in a toyota forum and might be able to get my hands on alot of 'em cheap.

the mk4 93-97

I dont know about the piping. I think you may just use you stock piping and modify it a little. Also the MK3 supra 87-92 have a pretty good IC but the stock piping is its weak point. The 3rd gens will be easier to find in the junk yard as they are more abunant.
This is haow the 3rd gens ic is set up

That is the same design ic that i have on my 88t (spearco drop in) and is about the size as the stock ic.

Thanks a lot dude. Would I need the piping as well? How about the size? How different is it?
Not too sure the inlet/outlet size of the ic endtanks on the Supra ic's but I know my Dejon BIG smic, the stock pipes were too small to use. They would not fit over the endtanks.

Correct me if I am wrong, if I were to get the Supra SMIC I would have to mount it in the front? I cant mount it in the same place as the Stock 1? I dont know the size dimensions of the Supra IC so this is why I am asking this question. I dunno if its huge and has to be mounted in the front.

The 93-97 supra IC will fit where your stock one does (but Good luck finding a MK4). Now the mk3(86-92) cars are a lot easier to find, and the way they are shaped it will have to fit in the front they are longer. They arent as good as the mk4 IC because they are not as thick and have more of a pressure drop, but will good piping it will be a great ic. Think of it as simmilair to the starion/conquest ic that ppl do. I forgot to point out that the mk4 ic sits in the side of the bumber (hence smci) and the mk3 sit in the front air damn to avoid confsion.

Edit: Here is a pic of what the mk3 ic look like
