So I have replaced my crappy T stat housing paper gasket with an oem one:EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts
I scrapped the old gasket off the head and t-stat housing and I am still leaking from under the housing. I was thinking it was going through the bottom bolt hole so I RTV Ultra Grey'ed the the threads but STILL LEAKS!
I was under the impression that Ultra Grey shouldn't be used when a good gasket is used but I'm running out of ideas and thinking of ultra grey'ing it around the outside of the gasket. It's not a massive leak but small drops.
When I removed the housing, I checked for cracks or warpage on both mating heads and it was fine..
Any ideas?
Thanks
