The talon is about to get a heart!!

Alright, here it is.

I've had most of the parts for my motor swap, pulled my motor roughly 10 or so days ago, of which I rented a car for my parts needs and to go to work, it's stacking up so it's time for my motor to find it's new home.

for the past few days I've been waiting for a new flywheel, my old one's bolts are super uber doublemint hercules'd on....or probably red locktite, and I don't have a torch.

ANYway, I figured I should not spend all this money and not swap the flywheel with a new one (ACT streetlite btw).

So my goal today, from my motor sitting on the ground (on wood) to bolted in the Talon awaiting an initial tune...I'm not going to sleep (I work nights) until I have dropped the motor in and bolted it up.

Depending on time, I will also be completing everything else, all the connections, driveshaft, axles, crossmember...the works

Still have to wire up my maft, to make things easier, I'm just going to pull the harness through the firewall on the passenger side before I drop it in. It is soooo much easier wiring anything while the motor is out, not impossibly difficult while the motor is in, just a lot easier while it's out

Nevermind...scratch that god damnit.. ####ing oil filter housing, tried to replace the old pressure sender with my new one, not the right thread. And now the old one won't thread. now I've got to get another mo####in ofh. ####

The 2ga one? Yea you can have it. I have a 2gb eclipse bumper I'm going to be rolling around with.

I'll snap some more pics as I got, as it sits, I need to refill the trans and tcase, tighten up my suspension stuff, reconnect the driveshaft, cap some vacuum lines, weld a bung on my new downpipe (since someone stole my whole exhaust!!) Rims/tires back on, bleed the brakes/clutch line. And SHABangaBAang! FINALLY!!!

I was patching things up to start it up for the first time and coolant is leaking like a sob and the thermo housing/waterpipe. I've replaced the o-ring a couple times to no avail, I'll have to go the auto parts store and get thicker ones.

I just put my Megan downpipe on, they are so pretty. On a side note it fit right in place with stock hangers with was sweet, good job Megan!

As for the car
Running into probs with my car and am flying out of the country on the 27th, I either need help, ooorr, I'm going to have to sell or store my car...for 3 years!
