1997 6 bolt swapped GST Spyder with 67,000 miles. Built with eagle rods and pistons, 272 cams, stage 2 port and polish, 3 inch ebay exhaust, 70 trim precision turbo, hks ssv BOV, new convertible top, engine freshly rebuilt. What do you guys think its worth?
 
All that information is great but without a 360* photo shoot of the car, inside and out, it could be worth $2k or $10k.

I have a 95 Eclipse - 420A - sitting at home in Colorado, I am trying to figure out what I want to do with it. I did a timing belt/water pump change for the first time. It ran like a CHAMP for a week, then a bolt inside the timing belt cover came loose (should have used thread locker!) and fell to the bottom and wedged itself between the gear sprocket and the engine block. Sucks!

I replaced the gear, timing belt, and some other things along the way to check for compression, but it turns out there are bent valves in 3 of the 4 cylinders. The rocker arms actually came off inside the valve cover.

How much would it cost to put on a new cylinder head and get it running again? From what I see online a new cylinder head is around $800. Would it be worth it get it, or should I just sell it for 500 bucks to a friend? I have a special bond with this car, it's a hot red fireball that has been good to me over the years.

What do you think?
 
For ONEGEE, 3k running that low power everything is a stealm and maturely driven? My 91 tsi awd is running 242k KM's and was maturely owned since 1993, it drives like a honda accord running 70k miles. Automatic or not you can drive it for another 100k miles and get that money back depending on how you maintain it. Automatic seems to sell a little better in eclipses since they are more popular to the ignorant consumer (Eclipses). Your market is wider with an auto. If anything you could drive the car for a couple monthes put it back up for sale and get an extra grand out of what you paid, then just be patient and wait for a MT one and use the money you gained to get it.

Just bought a 98 eclipse RS with 64K miles. only damage was the headliner needed replacing. The thing runs like a champ. Must of been garaged because the original paint is still mint besides some curb scratches. 4,500$. Steal or what? I'll post some pictures soon.

I have a couple people very interested in it for $4500. Fix weird problem first then will be sold. People really want older cars that get good mpg these days. I've had a lot of people ask to buy this GS already. :)

hey guys. how is it going. I need some serious help here. first off....I don't have pics yet. I have been talking to a guy who has a 92 talon tsi for sale. I would prefer a 2nd gen, but don't mind the 1st.....

I got my 1990 dsm at a auto wrecking yard,it had a blown motor and turbo, 125,433 miles on it,a dented rear bumper and a missing f.m.i.c that somebody pulled off of it.
how much would you pay for a dsm that is not running like the above mentioned?

[note: I am not selling mine or anything i'm just curious as to what others would pay or do.]

It is currently running 15psi and is set up to be a daily driver. With a few bolt-ons it could easily support 300-350 hp.

The Bad:
The drivers door is miss aligned and has a dent. The carpet has a couple stains. The check engine light comes on with a fuel curve error when using the a/c because the compressor causes it to idle to low.

The Good:
This car was previously a 11 sec car. The previous owner had it built with the best performance parts, but stripped it down before selling it to me. I have pictures of the car during the build. I bought this to be a toy and would like to keep it, but I have had it for 2 years and have barely driven and worked on it.

I may be trading my running stock (minus exhaust, intake, and lowing springs) 97 TSi AWD 5spd, for the vehicle in the link. the engine knocks, but I am only into my car for $2200 so I can get this car running for under $3000. things that worry me is that there is no mention of engine upgrades (pistons, rods...etc), Also I've never heard of that turbo and is it pushing too much air for the size of the injectors. Also if he bent a rod, what are the chances that when I put an engine in it the same thing will happen. Here is the car, the body and interior are mint.

I recently AWD swapped my 96 GST Spyder and am trying to put a value on it.
its completely rust free and very clean, 14x,xxx on the chassis, but the engine and trans were rebuilt before the install. Pretty much stock besides an exhaust.

any idea on what it would be worth cash wise?

So I am just curious what you guys think this eclipse gsx is worth.
It has a snapped timin belt and bent valves, as well as the 2nd gear pops out. It's a 98 eclipse gsx and it's body is in excellent condition as well as interior. Is it worth to get? He wants $3k for it.
