Very true. Honustly If it wasn't for the bang for your buck of DSM's I would most likely be cruseing in some american muscle right now. The way I see it theres only 3 choices.

i guess some people just dont see the car for what it is. in my opinion, the car IS worth 30k. is has stomped on the competition flawlessly time after time. so its not a draggster in stock form, not everything in performance is defined by straight line acceleration.

ive heard rumors that mitsu had to bring them here to keep the evo 8 in the rally events. that was a little inside advice i heard from my mechanic.

mitsu mechanices know nothin about mitsu company in general the service manager does because he meets with mitsu reps on certain things but even the reps dont know much

u can buy any ### car and get them legalized in the us it just may cost 1-5k doin it and also makin it emissions legal is the biggest head ache go to the title places and ask them they will refer you usaully to a manager ect ect and they will tell you what steps u need to make it legit. i checked on this when i was looking into skylines from jp because i found a 94 for like 9k in really good shape(not to mention the 1200) to bring it over and the title work but most of its public info just look for it

I’m sorry you’re wrong. Ask all the people that got scammed on the MR EVO by Evolution Importshere. They lost their petition to get the EVO 7 in.

Any sort of crazy non legal way you would have to register this car doesn’t mean anything. Your car will NEVER get released from the docks without EPA crash and emissions certifications.

Take a look at this and you will get a MUCH better understanding of what’s going on.

Man , i was at the mitsu dealer yesterday getting some parts, and I ask one of the guy taht works there, "How much do you want for that blue evo right there?" he said "29k" I said, "wtf 29k for a 2003!" he said "It's brand new" I said "Man I've been seeing this car stand here for the past 6 months" ( I drive by the dealer on my way to work and home) , he said "No, that's a new one we replace them after we sell them" I'm like "uhum" , they'll never get 29k for that shit, especailly for a 03.

Heck Id buy it for that. You could either keep it or part it out for that price. As far as how much it will cost ya to rebuild it. That can vary. Depends if you have any DSM buddys where you live. Plus Im sure you could probably use alot of parts off the motor thats in it. ie, block,maybe the head if resurfaced etc. I say go for it.

I'd buy it and see how much it would cost to fix.
If it's more than your willing to pay then just simply part the car out and make your money back.

its definetly worth 200 bucks, like said before, if it isnt easily fixable, u could easily part it for 1k or more.
