I came to terms on a price today with this guy. its a 95 TSI AWD. 72K on body, black, 5 speed, leather, all power options, and installed power seat in the passenger seat, so both up front have it. heres what i has:

EVERYTHING was done at turbotrix in NY, a dsm specializer...and was all done at the same time, in January it was completed. He only drove it home since (40 miles) and has not even drove the car yet since everything, cus he has 4 cars, and now needs to sell all but 1. I got it for $11,500. I think its a great deal...low miles awd 2g, with nice turbo setup, and very strong fresh 6 bolt swap. Looks a lil rice with the front bumper, and spoiler, but taht will be gone right away. What do you think?

Normally people shy away from worked over cars, either because they want to do the work themselves or don't trust the last guy to wrench on it. On the other hand, if all the work was professionally done at the same time then you should be pretty safe, assuming you wanted a turn-key car.

Hmmm...what other 3 cars did he have for sale?

A friend of mine has a talon also, and I have seen just how much room he doesn't have in it after a stroller, and car seat are in it!!

I live in Midland,MI.
Hood needs painting and it has three small rust spots on the passenger side of car, they arethe door sill, bottom of front fender, and rear wheel well.
ECU is good, I had the caps replaced 3 years ago, as for price-message me.

I have replaced alot of stuff on the car.It has a 4 bolt conversion, free mods, new u-joints and carier bearings, A/C needs recharging, new alternator, new timing belts, water pump, balance shaft belts, rebuilt transmission (5 speed), new parking brake cables, new Clutch Masters 2500# clutch, new stainless braided clutch line, new stainless braided brake lines, Powerstop crossdrilled front rotors, ceramic front pads, Extreme/ Thermal polished stainless 3 inch turbo back exhaust (no cat),Extreme boost controller, hacked air can, K&N air filter, Extreme center vent gauge mounting plate, VDO boost gauge, Extreme air fuel gauge, Isotta gold shifter knob, also have two gauge piller pod not in car, Magnecor 8.5 plug wires, Denso irridium spark plugs, rack and pinion is 2 years old, Sprint 2 inch lowering springs, Whiteline rear camber kit, Progress front camber kit, Ractive front strut tower brace, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Energy suspension sway bar bushings front & rear, Pilot driving lights, Silverstar headlights, recovered headliner (professionally recovered), aftermarket sunroof, new cam cover( i cracked the old one), stock wheels with snow tires, American Racing Pinzetti wheels 7.5/17 with Yokohama's, Pilot pedal pads, new strut mount bearing plates, el cheapo seat covers, lots of stock parts from my parts car.
I'm sure I have forgotten something!

Lets assume it has all power options, leather & sunroof too.

but if u want to know how much its worth

go to kelly blue book, then minus about 1000 for mods.

mods decrease the value of a car. not raise it.

I'd say about 5,000 with 131k miles on the car, but get it exact on kbb.com

AWD is worth it if you really really want it. If not get fwd. Its not as big as its made out to be honestly. I own it also. All AWD guys will tell you get awd. Its just known that way.

I would say since the engine is built um... Wait, is that a 7bolt they modded or is it a 6bolt swapped in? If its a 6bolt I would say 7000 is what I'd offer depending on the exteriors shape.

Not sure. How much if it's a 7 bolt?

Maybe less.

us dsm'ers arent really that warm to building up a 7 bolt. We usually do 6 bolt builds. Anywhere you buy a built engine for a DSM, its 6 bolt.

That sound like a pretty mean car though.
