got dsmlink v3 i wanna raise the max rpm whats the highest i should go my friend told me 8500??


how much of a noob are you with dsms or cars for that matter?WTF
you can make the engine go up to 8500 yes but your on a stock motor, this isnt a honda so ether do your homework or be ready to spend alot of money.
the fact your running a gt35r on a stock motor is already pushing that engine increasing your rpm is not gana do anything for you since you dont have any head work to make use of that extra rage per gear.
 
If you're on stock cams, valve springs, and intake manifold, then 7000 rpm is all you should rev out to. These cars fall flat on their faces over 6000 rpm on the stock cams and intake manifold. I've been to 7500 rpm on HKS 272's and a SMIM, where my valve springs were the limiting factor.
 
Listen to these last two posts. No stock motor DSM needs to be up that high. hell i dont even take my evo near that; only time i do is in 4th gear winding that out bc i have a freakin 6 speed, and if i shift to fifth i lose time at the track. But like stated above its not efficient to wind it out that far, you will go faster by shifting earlier anyway.
 
You need to some some solid searching and learning on this site. I'll give you some adivce now with your profile list.

Bolt-on Modifications:

Aside from the 750cc injectors, what other fuel mods do you have? Do you have a high flow fuel pump and an AFPR? Removing AC isn't gaining you anything except minute weight loss if you either don't use it at all or it's busted.

Auto drive train is superior for drag racing which you would know if you read up about the vehicle. A lot of people actually swap out manual for auto.

So, since you have an auto, how were your plans goign to go to get a higher redline? Were you going to do a valve/shift kit for the tranny? What CFM are you pushing with your setup? Do you even have a easy breathing exhaust system?
 
You generally want to keep your car with-in the powerband, don't want to be running out of power the moment you hit the next gear.
