The HWY Monster Update*

SO heres a little update for my car. I am no longer rocking the ROTA d-2s i have a set of evo wheels on my car now. Let me know what you think

As for the update on my car. I have actually started my engine build. The plans are;
2.3 stroker kit (slowboy racing)
Manley Pistons and H beam Rods
All Arp Hardware
Balance shafts eliminated
ACL main and rod bearings
Cosmetic complete engine gasket set
Slowboy racing G60 turbo
Head;
crower springs and retainers
DKS 272 cams (already in my motor)
Adjustable cam gears (working on brand)
Thats just a short list for now, im still working on a detailed list I have the turbo and bottom end parts. Just to remind you if you havent read my other choice. Im a 17 year old senior at Chantilly High School. This is my first car and i plan to build it to the best that i can.

Stroker /= highway setup. For a highway monster a 2:0 pr 2.2 would be much better

That was the original title of my blog, its more of a joke than anything just ### fwd flat out sucks. This is my first car and i want to build it because i might not be able to build a car in the future. I have too much sentimental value in this car to sell it and buy a gsx. What is your rational behind not building a stroker for a highway setup (since thats a legit form of racing on the highway right). Im not trying to rev to 9k. If youre just guna be an asshole and tell me how what im building is not correct for a "highway setup" then dont bother posting.

Highway or roll racing cars usually want to be able to rev high and have a higher top speed than say a regular street car or even a 1/4 mile car. A stroker engine is notorious for not being able to rev as high safely as a smaller displacement setup do to rod ratio. I'm not doing anything but talking facts. I didn't say buy a gsx or even that this wasn't a good build cause it looks like it is but a stroker is not a good choice for a car purposely built for the highway.

i though you were done with the car in the last blog. i guess it never ends. Im on a small 16g now i cant wait to start tuning though to see some more power, trans issues are holding me back.
