Hi!

Basically my car is running: 225/40R18
I have no clue what the offset is...

I bought the car like this and I am starting to hear a screeching sounds when I drive or when I turn my wheel fully.

Not only that my tires on the inside are seriously getting damaged.

My guess is that the offset is not right. I have no clue...

My style of driving is mostly for the mountain pass (touge), grip driving

Now what I was wondering. What would be the best for pure performance and functionality.

Here is what I was thinking of:
17 inch wheels
225 tire width with 8 inch wide wheels
Offset? I have no clue maybe 35?

Also speaking of PCD... since im a newbie. I guess the correct PCD is 5/114.3?

Give me some recommendations...

Thanks in advance...

235/45/17 tire on a 17x8 wheel, good ride, good clearance, reasonable priced tires and good performance
Okay that sounds good but what is your offset (ET) when running that?

I already have problems with my 225 18x8. I guess it is because of the offset...

I've cut a high 1.5 60' on my street tires on this setup.
I am sorry but what does this mean?

PS: Just saw your car it looks amazing. What is that colour?

Thank you guys, helped a lot!

I think I made my choice.

17x8
225/45R17 or 235
ET35

All in all. I made my choice!

Thanks!
