Temperature Gauge

Hey guys, I've noticed that when I start my talon tsi or just have the ignition on the temperature gauge raises to a little under 1/3. I'm wondering what can cause that or if its just a faulty gauge.

Not sure why this is in the hang-out, but I would suspect your temp sender and/or sensor.

There are 2 temp sensors/senders. A two wire one for the ECU and a single wire one for the gauge. Replace the single wire one for the gauge.

Sorry for posting in hangout, I cant post in the 4g63t section for some reason. Now where exactally is this sensor/sender located, is it the same thing as the coolant temp. sensor?
