This should be of interest to anyone running a flashable or eprom ecu at this point. Basically I'm running an evo8 ecu and I'm having transmission troubles, but AFAIK I can't pull codes from the diagnostic port using a multimeter for the tcu to determine why I randomly go into limp mode sometimes after reversing. So either I don't have any tcu codes or they aren't getting to the diagnostic port.

My question comes in when it comes to wiring. Is the tcu wired directly to pin 6 on the obd2 port? Or does this come through the ecu. If it does come through the ecu does anyone have a pinout of a 2g tcu so that I can just find the diagnostic code output wire and check it at the source?

This should be the same question/answer for anyone with an automatic that runs an evo8 ecu, a Ceddymod using a manual rom, or dsmlink.
