Hey,

I'm working on converting my 94 Galant GS over to my old 97 turbo ECU (makes the 1G head swap easier with the CAS sensor, and I get OBDII)

Then only thing I'm not sure of is wiring the OBDII connector. When I looked at it, there are a ton of wires in the back and from my wiring diagram it looks like only 2 are connected to the ECU.

I have found a pinout of an OBDII plug and I found the two wires that run to the ECU (pretty sure) but I'm not sure which one is the ground.

If someone could help me with the correct diagnostics connector pinout (and corresponding ECU pinout if possible) That would be a huge help.

Thanks,
-Jacob

For a little more informations,

Here is an OBDII pinout that I found:

On the table:

When I check the wiring in my turbo car, the two diagnostics pins from the ECU (verifying by wire color at ECU and at connector) run to the 'L' and 'K' lines. That makes sense to me.

What I'm not sure of is what other connections I need to make to have the pocketlogger work correctly.

Do I need the chassis ground, 12v+, the + & - lines of SAE J1850 signal, any of the 'discretionaries'?

I would assume I do need to connect the signal ground.

Thanks again,
-Jacob
