TB help please

I have a 92 awd laser that has a boost leak, it sounds like it right in the throttle body, I think its inbetween the throttle shaft and the little circle the throttle cable sits on are there seals there? my freind siad just get another TB nad be done with it, so I got a 2g turbo auto one will this work?

Yesthere are seals in the throttle body and they do leak after time i just replaced them on my 97 you can get directions at vfaq.com i think it costs under like 5 bucks to replace them

But will a 2g talon tsi TB work on my 1g?

A 1g tb works on a 2g so i would assume a 2g tb would work on a 1g but it would be a downgrade...the 1g throttle body is alot bigger
