Tan Interior, Who Actually Likes It?

I did scrap my black and tan interior car, BW got some of the pieces he needed off it and has some visors on the way to him that have the HomeLink buttons on it. :D

:thumb:

No I only test fitted it. The kid who owned the car before me drilled out the cigarette lighter and put a boost gauge there so the center black console from the GST is going in, which is sweet because I put a nice leather with red stitching shifter boot in it.

That will look really good in your car. Goes perfect with the exterior.

I'm pretty sure there is a way. If nothing else I'm sure you can use the sliders from the manual seats to convert the black seats to manual.

I switch between an 1\2 drive axle nut deep socket and a N\T Camshaft cut in half for my shift knob's...both thread on. look awesome too.

The point is electrical crap breaks.

This, this is why I'll swap my electrics out for manuals. This is also why I hate sunroofs. I can't live without my power windows and locks on a DD though.

They also suck balls to track down the problem and fix too. I enjoy power in my DSM though. The DD has power nothing. And I don't use the DSM enough for it breaking to really be much of a problem.

I am a very low tech kind of person, I suck at working electronics and I also feel they are a horrible thing to have inside a car (to an extent)

big reason why I hate new cars, they are more computer then they are mechanical.

Power Doors, Windows, and ECU is about the most electronics I'm ok with, and old school cruise control.

of course my bag of chips is Carburated cars with the most high tech thing being an Wide band for obvious reasons (always had this dream of Triple Weber Carburetors with dual Velocity Stacks on each one. *Sigh* that is now just a passed dream) :'(

and electrical seats...we can def do with out them, have you ever tried getting laid in a car with electric seats? it gets very awkward...

"Hang on while i lean the seat back" *beeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzztttt* 2 mins later *Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzt* "There we go" Girl: "idk if this is a good idea, maybe another time...."
^ Fail

plus they are heavy as fuuuuuuuuuu

In order to change the seats from electric to manual, you would have to change the entire rail on each seat, would be easier and more cost effective to just swap the entire seat and sell your electric seats or trade for manual leathers.

Yeah well, My Talon has a dent that no other DSM inthe world has cause I'm super jdm as #### like that! VTEC.

who cares how "rare" your black seats are, i thought this was tan interior not look at me i got some wiered rare seats oooo koool. only seats I would give any credit of uniqueness too are 1G leather seats which are tan....ish. I rarely see them but they are out there. friend has em in his talon

The black 1g leather seats, seem to be the rarest to me.
I still feel like if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
All that work just to "prevent" something from breaking.
I wonder how many people with power seats, actually have had them break?:hmm:

Anyway this thread is supposed to be about, tan interior.
Not the rarest color seats!ROFL

Just to get things sort of back on track.
Does any one know how common it is for a 1g to have black/tan interior?
My 1990 has the black/tan and it doesn't seem like I see too many with it.
