Tan Interior Color Match

I love my black and tan interior. I've had many compliments on how sharp it looks compared to the black or gray. The contrast between the black and tan is what makes it "pop". My tan panels are in very good shape and have very little sun fade. I think that if I first put a white base on my gauge pod and then use the SEM Palimino, it might be close. Anyone have a pic of a piece painted with the Rustoleum paint?

That SEM looks like it might be some good stuff to shoot over factory panels.. Hmm.. I'm in the middle of swapping my Talon from the brown interior to a black/tan. Problem is, I have parts from about 2-4 different cars. LOL Everything is a different shade or faded and such.

In your case where nothing matches due to sourcing from different cars with trim in various stages of fading, I would pick one of the 2 SEM colors and paint all the tan to make it the same. Not what I want/need to do where my interior is original, but works when you're piecing it together.

You might try using a different base with one of the two colors. Such as what was suggested above: a white base then the darker of the two. Who knows, maybe you'll reach what you need.

I am in the same boat as you as well. My GS-T has a black triple pod. It just looks off.

Here is the final with the SEM product. Palomino LT, factory middle, and doe skin rt. To me the palomino looks like a chick who got a spray tan,its kind of orangy. I like the doe skin. Both products cover easily in a couple coats. If u think about it u could do your whole interior in a weekend. Just make sure u clean the panels with a degreaser.

I found another SEM color I might test, Lt Oak #15753. Looks like it might be a touch darker than the Light Buckskin with out the bright orangish overtones of the Palomino. What do you think?

That may just be what you are looking for.

Sure! I've been meaning to put up some pics of my ride anyway, just been so busy doing all the little things on it, that taking pics keeps getting pushed off till later which never comes. I'll try to get some tonight after work, but if that doesnt happen, for sure tomorrow morning.
