2G Tail lights

[BLACK'98DSM]

Looking for a nice set of 2gb tail lights. I don't have to replace mine, they are just fine. I'm just kinda shopping around to see what's out there. I do not like the "ricer" style lights. I want to keep my car at least semi classy.

I'm not specifically looking to buy parts from other people. More or less looking for suggestions; ideas. Just looking to see what others will recommend. Like I said, I don't have to replace, only if I can find a nice set.

Personally a big fan of those EDM tailights. Definitely going to get some for my eclipse when the time comes.

Tee hee hee. Ive always like the idea of taking them ricer tails...and coating them with red tint to take away the whole "ricer" look. Ive always been curious on how it would turn out

Maybe the tint would make them look better, but I've never seen red tinted tailights that look good. I'd say best thing you could do for those tails is take them apart and paint the chrome-backing or whatever it is. I think it's the chrome that totally mismatches our cars is what makes them look "ricer."

Edit: I still never think they will be nicer than stock.

Personal opinion: I've never seen aftermarket tail lights that weren't a massive aesthetic downgrade from stock. The only thing that I've done to the tails on my previous cars was to replace the bulbs with LED arrays so that the it lit up across the entire back of the car. My implementation was poor, but as a proof of concept it was definitely a success.

I just picked up a smooth bezel (centerpiece). I think that will satisfy me for now. I'll post a pic once it's on if anybody's interested.
