Tail Lights

What does everyone think of these tail lights. I dont like rice at all but they are all red like our stock ones and give the car a newer look. I would not put the center light on unless painted same color as car. Just wanted some opinions and maybe pics if someone else already has them.

Those second tail lights you guys posted, I modified a set with LED's once. Looked killer for ricer tails. Using LED Clusters from Semi Trucks.

I could make an exception for these. Better then the altezza lights I seen many eclipse with.
Around town there is a 99 eclipse with the altezza lights. He took off the clear cover and replaced it with the stock red cover. At night you see a circle shape of the light. Looks pretty cool.

Well I was going to get those until tonight.

I noticed that they are not completely led If they were I would buy them tomorrow.

I want a set with that lens that is completely led Like the ones I bought for my truck.

Those are ok. How much are they? Decent replacment but if your oe aren't damaged? Definitly agree with painting the center section too.
I do like the idea of taking the alteeza lens off and replacing them with the oem. Maybe just because it would look oe but slightly different. Maybe just because it would look OE.

They arent bad, but I have to say stay with stock also. There is no better looking than stock.

What's up wit all of the "euro taillights" having fake lights in the center section. I think that looks fugly as hell. I would rather them just have a plain chrome painted in the center piece than those ugly ass fake lights.

They are better then the usual altezzas but still too ricey for me. I have the stock lights tinted and the center piece painted white. IMO it looks better when the center is painted.

Authenticity taken out of anything is people calling it rice and wanting everyone to have the same boring looking car. Changing wheels for looks is exactly the same as changing tail lights. Until they start making laws that forbid you to do any modification of cars whatsoever on the grounds of how it looks, people should stop putting down others ideas.

Honestly these days rice is so weird it's not even funny. Body kits and all that from the late 90s/early 2000s are rice but so is the new JDM movement where having knock off rims and an ABS front lip make you king shit with the local teenagers.

Honestly I've seen more trends come and go since I've been messing with cars, one thing that will never die is performance.
