Alright heres the deal, We had a 16g turbo on the car and the turbo that was installed on it was blown, so my friend picked up a cummings holset turbo (I think its a t3/t4 size) Well anyways, after we hooked it all up got everything ran the car wont start. we are clueless... the motor was built by Busher so its all new maybe 2k miles on it. we don't plan on beating the crap outta of the motor or the turbo just want to get it up an going. any ideas?

Turbo swaps have nothing to do with the car not starting- you can start the car with no turbo or manifold bolted to it if you have a way to cap off the oil supply line. Your problem lies somewhere else.

By the way- Holsets were never described as being T3/T4....they're a Holset. The "T3/T4" name was coined to a certain line of Garretts and is now thrown around to the point where nobody even knows what the hell it means- like "Disco Potato" among Nissan entusiasts.

Yeah I thought so but I just kinda call it that because its the same flange set up, now the battery was relocated to the trunk in this process would that have something to do with something not being grounded? (I'm laid up in bed from surgery so I'm just going by what they are telling me I cant look at it or do anything to help)

If the battery was also relocated while doing the swap, that is where your problem lies..Something has to be not hooked up correctly.I would get someone to check it out, if your laid up at the moment, or wait till your better...

I'll send the minions out to go make sure it's all grounded. that's all I can do for now. :(

There is your problem! You can't use minions to fix your problems. Haven't you seen despicable me?

:p

Really though, does the car crank over? Did you unhook the MAS or anything electrical when swapping turbos? Make sure the battery isn't dead?
