t3/t4 from turbonetics

I know this turbo is probly a bit big for street use, but i want a turbo that i can upgrade to and be able to handle 250-500 hp. When i get my GSX up to around there i will probly take it off the street.

that was kinda a broad explaination... 250-500 whp... that is a 250 hp difference... hahah ok let me list so turbos and what I heard and hopefully this helps you...

16g caps at 320 whp (faster spooling than b16 but slower than T28)
b16 caps at 350 whp (slower spooling higher top end)
T28 caps at 330 whp (fast spooling)
T3/T4 50 trim caps at 500 whp (pump gas king... spools 22 psi @ 3600rpm from what I heard)
20g caps at like 550 whp (doesnt start till 3500 rpm but hella high end)

This is based mostly on what I read on this site pls correct me if I am wrong and I hope this helps you.

Those are all your options... But if you are looking into a T3/T4 yeah be prepared to pay and mod like crazy... Within the next 2 months I will be doing that and I plan to spend like 3.8k in parts alone for this stupid kit... T3/T4....

the kit itself 1700 + shipping (next month)
Apex front mount 950 (ordered, putting it on when I get my car repainted... wednesday)
660 injectors 400 (going to order with stupid kit)
255 lph pump 120 (next month)
Apex AFC II 300 (sitting next to me)
Apex AVC-R 450 (sitting next to me)

and then tack on stuff you don't have

My TDO6H 20G ported with NO clipping gets full boost (21psi) by 3.7k. I don't know when it starts. I just try and keep my rpms in the 2.5k range at all times. Until I am going 60mph or going through the gears at a 'spirited' pace.

U got lucky I was looking for a gst guy around here today since he doesn't have a computer. That was the best price and it is FREE shipping.


As for the 20G, I went from T25 to this thing and it is a monster to me. The spool up issue is nothing. Almost better being FWD I guess. Just by driving the car I rarely look, but I don't seem to just lag ass until boost. It hits and hits hard. The setup is what got me to it and it has the potential I was looking for.

Yeah I heard the lag is good for the FWD so we dont burn out as much so it is great for our launches..... ^^;;; I would love a 10 second car hahah and a 20g has done it before but my Eclipse gives out at 12 ^^;;

what is the t28's max psi? thats a mits turbo right? is it a bolt on, what other upgrades should i do other than injecters, afc2, fuel pump, boost controler, exc. when dose the t28 start to spool and when dose it reach max spool? and last but not least what dose AVC stand for? also if i get boost creep a boost controler will fix that right?

I suggest you start another thread with a topic line of:

"Those with a T28, I need some help"

And just copy and paste the paragraph you just wrote.


Other than that you are just going to get people that are interested in the T3/T4 50trim.
