t28 questions

i blew my t25 and im thinking about replacing it with a t28. Is there any difference between the garret t28 or the forced performance big 28. Also how much boost can each of those turbos handle?If you can give me any other information on the t28 that would be awesome.

Garrett T28 uses a Garrett T-2 flange whereas the FP Big28 retains the Mitsu flange. In other words, the Garrett sold T28 will not fit.

The Garrett GT28R turbo is not a direct bolt-on.

Buy the FP Big T28 Turbo and get the 17 psi actuator. Check out their website, www.forcedperformance.com

I second on that choice. The FP Bigt28 can handle over 20psi boost with the right supporting mods. however, you must have fuel mods done in order to turn it up that high.
